move towards clarity, confidence, & connection

Somatic and relational therapy for adults in Massachusetts and California

Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and capable but something in their life feels stuck. They keep experiencing the same patterns and they struggle to feel confident in themselves, their relationships, or their life path. They come to therapy ready to understand themselves more deeply and create a life that feels fulfilling and purposeful.

I am a licensed therapist and yoga instructor offering a warm, grounded space to explore patterns that have shaped you while supporting you towards impactful change. I offer individual therapy sessions to serve as ongoing support on your journey. My approach is integrative, weaving together relational therapy, somatic awareness, and parts work. Both my heart and my mind are present in our sessions together.

Our therapy will invite you to slow down, listen inwardly, and gently untangle what keeps you from living with more freedom and ease.

I work with adults struggling with addiction and recovery, anxiety, relationships, and questions around meaning and purpose. I also offer harm reduction and integration therapy for expanded states of consciousness.

How I Help

  • Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety can look like constant worry, or like feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure what comes next. Therapy gives you a chance to slow down, understand what’s behind it, and build a steadier relationship with yourself.

  • Relationship Therapy for Individuals

Our relationships can bring us our deepest connection and our hardest struggles. We’ll look at the patterns that shape how you connect, so you can build relationships that feel more honest and fulfilling.

  • Therapy for Life Transitions

Sometimes life changes unexpectedly, and sometimes the life you’ve built stops feeling quite right. Therapy can help you get clear on what matters to you and find your footing in what comes next.

  • Addiction and Substance Use Therapy

Drinking or using can make life challenging. Relationships might feel harder, or it can be difficult to show up at work in your full capacity. Therapy can help you get to a place where you feel calmer and more in control.

  • Therapy for Families and Loved Ones Affected by Addiction

Loving someone who struggles with addiction can be painful, confusing, and exhausting. This work puts the focus on you, so you can set boundaries, find clarity, and support someone you love without losing yourself.

  • Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration Therapy

Whether you’re considering psychedelic use or making sense of a past experience, you can talk openly here without judgment. Together we’ll work toward thoughtful, informed decisions and help you bring your insights into daily life.

Words from former clients:

"I started working with Rachel as I was recovering from burnout, grappling with existential questions about my work life, and charting the next stage of my adult relationships with parents and siblings. Through working together I was able to better understand my patterns and needs personally and professionally, and find greater acceptance and peace with those familial relationships. Rachel has met me where I am in every stage of our work together - from assigning me concrete “homework” when I asked for that to opening and closing our sessions with (much needed!) meditation and breath-work, our sessions evolved with my progress, needs, and our relationship.

Rachel is positive, calm, flexible, and extremely perceptive. She cultivated trust quickly while also helping me build my trust in myself. I would highly recommend working with Rachel to anyone who is ready to do the work with someone who will partner with you to let go of what’s no longer serving you."
